Master Bathroom Remodel in Marshall, VA

Located in the rolling hills of Fauquier County and on top of one of them this home has vistas at every window. This Midcentury inspired contemporary home needed a master bathroom update and design that was about living in nature, taking advantage of the views while being true to the original midcentury minimalist design and architecture. The design featured a curved freestanding tub, barrier free walk in shower with no door and frame less shower glass for walls and contemporary cherry vanity that with stands daily use in a bathroom environment. Having a window in a bathroom for the view is a great idea when you live on top of a hill in the middle of the Hunt Country in Fauquier County, Virginia. The vantage point is very private. The light brightens and warms your day. Having a frameless clear glass shower encloser with no door really lets the light in, is low maintenance, and easy to clean. With an abundance of natural light it feels like you are outside showering under a waterfall with the river stone and pebble tile cascading down onto the floor. Large porcelain wall tiles and floor tiles with tight grout lines, custom tiled niches for storing soap and shampoo all with tight clean lines for that contemporary design. The porcelain tile, natural pebbles and tech power grout is also low maintenance and easy to clean.
